Developer STING has released version 1.3.0 of its board game RPG, Viractal: Will You Trust Your Party?, introducing a crossover character from the studio’s classic tactical RPG catalog. They are designed specifically for high-difficulty encounters where immediate, high-impact utility is required to survive a bad turn.
Instant Cards carry significantly stronger base effects than standard Skill Cards, but they come with two major limitations. First, they cannot be upgraded at any point during a run. Second, once an Instant Card is played, it is permanently removed from the player’s deck for the remainder of the match, preventing players from cycling powerful effects repeatedly.
This design forces a strategic choice between sustained deck efficiency and immediate burst utility.
